The show is a TV-show that does away with normal conventions and plays like a PUB-quiz made by the nerdist people around. And the obviously correct answer will almost always give you massive points. "How many moons are there around earth" should NOT be answered with "1" or you get the infamous klaxon and points. The person with the most points lose... It play around with common misconceptions and facts that people don't generally know. Actually, counting smaller bodies, there are more than just moon around earth. It's true.And the connection: every season of QI is connected to one letter in the Alphabet. One episode in the N-series was called "Words that starts with an N". That simple, really.
